Fitness Models; From Celebrities To Unknown Role Models

Article by Gary Holdon

The physical condition of many fitness models seems nearly inhuman. These individuals are so fit it is hard to imagine that it is natural. However, most of the fitness models out there today do gain their fantastic physiques naturally through hard work, hours of workout and weight-lifting every day, and in some cases dieting that is rigid enough to make the average person blanch.

Profiles of Famous Fitness Models and Body Builders

While certain names may come to mind when an individual thinks of body builders or fitness models, there are many other famous persons in this profession. Some of the most famous professional body builders include:

He was born in Austria in 1947, and Arnold’s bodybuilding career began in the 1960′s and progressed to earn him five Mr. Universe titles, seven Mr. Olympia awards, as well as numerous other bodybuilding and power-lifting competitions. This of course led to his career as an actor and eventually to the position of governor on California.

Tevita Aholelei – Tevita is a champion of International Federation of Bodybuilders (IFBB). He was born in south Fiji in the Kingdom of Tonga. Therefore he is also known as the “Stone of Tonga”. The impact that fitness models can have on the average person is that of a role model. While the average individual may not be able to achieve such a look, the person can use a fitness model as inspiration to engage in a program designed to get them into better shape. As such, much of the psycho-babble with regard to the negative images models project is somewhat untrue.
